And they made a crossover based off the current gen escape? It would be the Edsel Bahama.
Can you believe Im getting college credit for this?

IF Edsel existed today , they’d just be badge engineered Fords *shudder*

I thought it was a B9 Tribeka at first!

You get college credit for tracing a Ford and putting on an awkward grille? Gotta admit I’m slightly jealous. I get college credit for spending five hours doing discreet logic.

Theres more to it than that. I have to create a design that appeals to a certain demographic. My demo is single 30 sumthin professional women with money that dont want to show it off but still wants to live in luxury. Its more about market research and knowing how to appeal to a group

I don’t think that grille appeals to much other than the ‘blind’ demographic. If Edsel still existed I feel like they would either subscribe to the ‘manic grin’ design philosophy or the ‘slap you in the face with industrial’ design philosophy. With this design I think it would be a split grille (because bumper bar) that sort of looks like a rounded-off Chevy Sonic grille.
Also needs moar LED running light strips because everyone and their mother needs to have LED running lights now for whatever reason.

And your research showed that a 30 something woman would be interested in a car named the Bahama? With a rectangular grill?

Try rounding off the Edsel grille. It just looks a little tacked-on when it’s square. Also, a little headlight detail would be fantastic. It would just make the design pop.

Cant do that, but I added some character lines to give some continuity to the grille. Hows this?

That flows a lot better. Pretty cool!

didnt some company just go through this? was it aston martin? 30-somthing professional, single women were their targets. not sure the “dont want to show off” component was there, but i definitely remember the rest of it.
